In order to register for training courses and receive service emails/texts, users must register and provide certain voluntary information about themselves. The Swim Focus Rescue website collects and stores information required to complete the registration process.

Registering with Swim Focus Rescue will add you to our mailing database to provide service emails about future courses and availability. Should you no longer wish to receive this information, simply email info@swimfocusrescue.co.uk using the address we have registered for you, or respond to any of our emails with “UNSUBSCRIBE” (unsubscribing can take up to 28 days to process). Please note that customers currently booked with us who choose to unsubscribe may also be removed from important updates about their bookings.
Swim Focus Rescue is not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of websites to which we may link. Swim Focus Rescue uses reasonable precautions to keep the personal information disclosed to us by our users secure and to disclose such information only after obtaining permission from the user (except under the circumstances discussed above).

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to carry out these functions. If you notify us that you no longer wish to be listed on the database we will delete your information as soon as possible.

What are your rights?
You have a right to see the information we hold on you and/or require your data to be deleted by making a request in writing to info@swimfocusrescue.co.uk. If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to have it corrected. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us and we will investigate the matter.
If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
